G{Code} House Programs

Welcome to G{Code} House, where we empower black, brown, and/or indigenous young women and non-binary people of color to thrive in the tech industry. Our programs provide a supportive, inclusive, and safe environment for individuals to explore coding, web development, and data analytics.

At G{Code} House, our mission is to bridge the gap in opportunities for underrepresented communities in the tech industry. We believe in the power of education, community, and empowerment to create change and open doors to exciting careers in technology.

Programs Offered

Intro to Web Dev

12 week virtual course

Our Intro to Web Development program is designed for individuals between the ages of 18 to 25 who are interested in learning the foundations of web development. This 12-week virtual program focuses on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, providing hands-on training and building portfolio-ready projects. In addition to technical skills, we offer workshops on personal and professional development to help our participants excel in all aspects of their lives.

Intro to Data Analytics

12 week virtual course

Our Intro to Data Analytics program offers an immersive learning experience for individuals between the ages of 18 to 25 who want to explore the world of data analytics. Over the course of 12 weeks, participants receive training in foundational statistics, advanced Google Sheets, SQL, Python, and NumPy. Through engaging projects and workshops, we empower our students with the skills needed to analyze and interpret data effectively.

Program Highlights

Supportive Learning Environment: We foster a safe and inclusive space where individuals can explore their interest in tech without fear of judgment or bias. Our experienced instructors and mentors provide guidance and support throughout the program.
Portfolio-Ready Projects: Both our web development and data analytics programs focus on hands-on learning. Participants will work on real-world projects, building a portfolio that showcases their skills and creativity.
Personal and Professional Development: We believe in holistic growth. In addition to technical training, we offer workshops and resources on financial literacy, negotiation skills, well-being, personal branding, resume review, and interview preparation.
Community and Networking: G{Code} House encourages collaboration and community building. Participants have the opportunity to connect with their cohort members and our dedicated team, fostering long-lasting relationships and a strong support system.
Continued Learning Resources: After completing the program, participants gain access to additional resources for further technical learning, ensuring their continued growth and success in the tech industry.
